August 2008 - At Corporate Pages we take your data very seriously. We have implemented a back up solution on all servers that most other hosting companies do not have.
Introducing CDP (Continuous Data Protection)
In your control panel you will see an icon in the backup area called "R1Soft". At any time you can restore a file from a backup. We securely back up all files every 4 hours to a seperate server and you will have 1 weeks worth of 4 hourly backups available. Upon clicking "R1Soft" you will see the file structure of your account. Simply browse to the folder called "public_html". In there you will find all your website files and the last back up time (backups are every 4 hours). Simply select the individual file to restore or all files. If you need to restore a database contact us.
Standard On Server Back Up to spare Hard Drive
We also offer standard backup that comes with any cPanel account. With the standard cPanel backup, we or you can back up from the spare hard drive on the server. This can be accomplished from with cPanel or we can assist. This feature allows you to do a full account restore from a "Tar" file. We can extract individual files too for you.
